Just so I can remind myself I have stuff I should be doing
Plot: A young woman goes missing just before her high school graduation. Presumed dead, she is honored at her graduation by family and friends. Twenty* years later, after her friends and classmates go their separate ways, they receive postcards in the mail from their hometown, Black Pines. “Have you forgotten about Haley?” One young woman, the missing girl’s childhood friend, returns home to seek answers. (Something like that)
Silent Secret started as a “random generator” story. The premise was to use random generators for as many aspects of the story as possible. The title, characters, and at least some extent of the plot was created by generators. They mostly came from links available on the Seventh Sanctum website.
I’ve written a little on this story, but I want to do some research before anything solid. Eventually it’ll be available by the chapter, on a monthly basis, as premium content!
At some point it’ll be self published as well.
Plot: (so far) Two sisters, with very different personalities, who honestly don’t get along super well (sounds like a generic sister story) get into complicated shenanigans. They have to learn to accept their differences and work together to get out of the mess they’ve gotten themselves in.
Honestly got the idea from a random Facebook image someone shared. I think I woke up thinking about it. Had some downtime at work and wrote an opening scene. If I can get the time to work on it, it’s gonna be a good one!
Don’t tell my sister, it’s gonna be dedicated to her.
Eventually I’ll self-publish this one as well.
Premise: On my Facebook page I post each “chapter” of a story. The next chapter’s content is determined via poll posted on the Crash Landing Site group. ALWAYS check the page first, for the chapter. Then vote in the poll. Haven’t figured out yet how to post the chapter and poll as one post.
I haven’t revealed the general plot or theme, yet. I want to watch and see where the readers take the story! So far we’re one chapter in so check it out! This one is Facebook exclusive!
I’m also going to be giving three self-published copies of the finished story to the three people who participate the most in the polls.
The weird sounding title was on purpose, FYI.
My goal was to make tutorial/informational videos on my YouTube for people who want to learn more about various crafts! I so often get people who tell me “I wish I were crafty.” I wanted to show them how!
I’ve gotta get my crap together and get going with this. I’d love to do it but honestly I’m afraid of being in front of a camera! That and the debilitating fear of rejection. 🤦♀️
Anyway, I’m sure there’s a million other things I want to be working in. Like my nephew’s letter keychain and sticker. Sorry my dude. I’ll get ya eventually.
Thanks for reading!

Over the last several months (off and on for years really) I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve been A: carrying a lot of extra weight—and I don’t just mean physical, and B: been hoping for something that just isn’t going to happen. So I’m making changes.
1. I’ve had more than one Facebook page, dedicated to different aspects of my creative outlets, and none of the got the attention I hoped, becoming a burden to maintain and a waste of time. So several weeks ago, I “unpublished” two of them, and am now focusing exclusively on Crash Landing. I’ve updated it’s look and theme, as well as my other social media. Check it out for some interesting goings-on.
2. I’m planning a monthly/weekly features, including “You Don’t Need” Monday’s (see what I did there?) and Spotlight Sunday’s where I’ll shine a light on other creators who just wanna share with the world, like me. Non-Fiction Friday will be where I discuss what’s happening in the world and how I’m feeling. #covid19anyone?
3. I have a YouTube channel, where I hope to share some interesting stuff, if I can get over my embarrassment. I mean, I have a GoPro, might as well use it. 🤷♀️
There’s more I’m sure I’m not remembering, but I’m trying to both simplify my life, and put myself out there for the world. I miss being creative, I love sharing that with others, and, I mean. I put all this work into some of this stuff. I might as well use it.
I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy, and trying to enjoy the #hermitlife. I am however in retail as a day job, so I can’t “self-quarantine”, no matter how badly I want too!
Always, thanks for reading! -c
08 Friday Dec 2017
I’d like to officially announce my candidacy for president.
Haha. No. Seriously you couldn’t pay me enough…
As you might be able to tell, I am (actually) officially announcing the long awaited sequel to Black Friday: A Zombie Story!
Due to a recent surge in interest, mostly by the people around me, I have decided to ride the newfound popularity like it’s the cow jumping over the moon. Also people have been asking.
I think I’ve been avoiding it all these long years because I didn’t think it would ever get as much attention as the original, or that I could please people they way I didn’t with BF:AZS.
But the recent attention as brought the story, and how it ended back into my mind and my heart. And I want to make people happy.
The only problem is figuring out the logistics! With the plot and ending of the first one, how in Bob’s name are gonna open up a new chapter?!
But I’m sure gonna try!
Stay tuned for updates, you can find most here:

Posted coming soon, On Writing
inI’m back!
So, I recently subscribed to a monthly subscription “box” called ScribeDelievery. It basically delivers to me a monthly fix of stationary!
Last month was one large notebook, one medium notebook, a pencil, a pen, and a three pack of all weather notebooks. While I haven’t gotten to try it all out yet, I did enjoy each item, and they’re just waiting for me to leave my mark!
July was Fountain Pen Month with SCRIBEDelivery! I am now the proud owner of a Noodler’ Ink fountain pen! And let me tell you, writing with it on this awesome notepad from Rhodia is amazing! I kinda don’t want to stop!
Literally I’m laying in bed, my husband is snoring next to me (I really do love him anyway) and my 2.5 year old tiny human is asleep in her bed. And all I can think about is reaching over and tiring in the lamp and scribbling away!
Only problem is I have nothing special to write!
I am, however, gearing up for another round of Very Short Fictions! I posted the image above to my Facebook page and got all the likes I needed! Awesomely, I got one like from someone I never met! This will be a challenge!
Each person will be getting their own short story! I hope it have story one finished by July 14th!
You can like my page to be prepared for the next round! Here’s the LINK!
And next month I’ll review August’s SCRIBEDelivery!
Until then!

Posted coming soon, Fiction Friday, If Words Could Kill
in “If Words Could Kill” was a short story series I created where readers who “Liked” and image on my Facebook page would be chosen to have the fictional story of their murder written by yours truly!
Each story takes a trait, characteristic, or aspect of the individual’s life (if I didn’t know them personally, I crept on their social media to learn a little about them, with permission of course), and made it a unique-to-them story.
It was of course all in good fun, and no one was harmed in the writing of these stories!
Links to each story are listed below! Enjoy! Comments are always appreciated!
